Founded in 2008 by longtime Abbotsford teachers Marilyn and Ron Peters, Abby Tutors was created to combine their passion for education with a mission to help students build confidence and succeed academically and beyond. Since then, Abby Tutors has helped hundreds of students achieve their goals.
Abby Tutors is currently managed by Victoria Ewert, an enthusiastic and experienced educator. While pursuing her Bachelor of Education degree at Trinity Western University, Victoria taught language arts, math, science, and social studies in Abbotsford and Langley. She also taught ESL in South Korea and at an international school in Toronto. Victoria is an experienced tutor who is committed to meeting students' needs.
Our tutors are highly qualified and thoroughly vetted through reference checks, transcript reviews, and criminal record checks. They have completed the necessary university coursework and bring relevant experience to plan and deliver effective lessons. Students benefit greatly from their friendly and supportive guidance.

Yes! While the comfort of in-home is usually preferred , we also offer online lessons for added flexibility.
All tutors are university-educated. Some have teaching degrees and/or master’s degrees.
No. You only pay for the sessions you book—no commitment required.
We tutor almost all subjects from elementary through university level, aligned with the BC Ministry of Education curriculum to keep students on track.
