Tutoring is a terrific job for proficient (former or current) students. The objectives are to help students understand concepts and develop their study skills. Clear and polite spoken and written communication skills are important.

Candidates are required to prove they have successfully completed university coursework in the subjects they intend to tutor. Exceptions can be made for Educational Assistants who have experience working with primary students. Experience working with students who have learning exceptionalities is an asset.

Abby Tutors accepts candidates who specialize in any subject, but priority is given to French, early literacy, science, and math.

Candidates are required to have a valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Please bring a recent Abbotsford police check with no criminal record to the interview.
